Our community is rapidly growing, and we need to match that growth with an infrastructure that can handle our developing city. The roads that are in desperate need of an overhaul to help smooth out the flow of traffic are being worked on as funding becomes available. Storm Drain repairs have been funded with the new payments on our electric bill. And the debate concerning traffic flow as we increase the density of housing in the new city center continues.
As you may have heard, there is currently an ongoing struggle to quickly build three large electronic digital billboards in our new city center. On top of being an obnoxious eyesore for the locals, it would also be a danger to drivers along 33rd south, Highland Drive, and Richmond Street.
